Before black button workshop, Mariann co-owned two award winning boutiques in Philadelphia for 20 years, Ma Jolie. The boutiques were nationally recognized by WWD, Washington Post, New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Philadelphia Inquire.

I like to think of each garment as a form or shape; I begin with fabric, the textile dictates the form of the garment. I create clothing that can transform from one look to another, the wearer chooses…….the shape shifter.
